When Women Rise, the Industry Rises: Celebrating the Male Allies Behind WiiN

events & posts (10)

In 2020, when the world stood still, something powerful began to move.

Across continents — from home offices, kitchen tables, and quiet living rooms — women in the incentives, rewards, and loyalty industry started connecting in ways they never had before. What began as a simple conversation during the pandemic became the spark that ignited the Women in Incentives Network (WiiN).

Today, WiiN is a global community of 155+ women across 20+ countries, representing 70+ companies, from Blackhawk Network and Virgin Incentives to Cashwave, InComm, Runa, Edenred, lastminute.com and more. Our members include founders, rising leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives shaping the future of our industry.

But what makes WiiN truly remarkable is not only the women who power it — it’s also the men who stand beside them.

Because progress isn’t just a women’s issue. It’s an industry issue. And allyship is how we move forward together.

Why Male Allies Matter

WiiN was created to rebalance representation in an industry where leadership has long been uneven. We exist to help women build confidence, visibility, leadership skills, and community — but we never intended to do it alone.

From the very beginning, several influential male leaders in our industry supported the mission, sponsored memberships for their teams, amplified women’s voices, and advocated for more inclusive leadership.

Today, we honour them — and all male allies who believe that when women rise, everyone wins.

Their words speak for themselves:

“Supporting WiiN felt like a natural step for us.”

– Lucio Marazzi, Partnerships & Gift Card Director @ lastminute.com

“It’s about giving women in our teams the confidence and community to grow, and that’s exactly what our ‘Be Yourself’ culture at lastminute.com is built on.”

“Equity isn’t just an idea. It calls for action.”

– Sander Vessies, Founder & CEO Giftomatic, IMA Europe Board

“WiiN gives women the platform to connect and grow, which I’m proud to support… inclusion makes our industry and network stronger, smarter, and ready for the future.”

“The WiiN community is priceless.”

– James Malia, President UK & Europe @ Prezzee

“The eagerness our Prezzee team shows for every event speaks volumes about the real impact WiiN delivers. I’ve witnessed the resulting growth and confidence firsthand.”

“Quite frankly I am jealous the male side hasn’t followed suit.”

– Jon White, Director, Partner Channel @ Blackhawk Network EMEA

“WiiN is a standout example of how the Incentives Industry can really make a difference… all levels, from founders to account execs, can thrive here.”

“The strongest teams I’ve seen are those led by women and men together.”

– Eric Thiegs, Head of Strategy & Growth @ NeoCurrency

“Now, I’m committed to paying that forward — creating space for women to lead, contribute, and thrive. When women have a seat at the table, business and culture grow stronger.”

“Let’s recognise their positive and ongoing impact on the industry”

– Andrew Johnson, Group CEO @ Diggecard, President @ IMA Europe

“At Diggecard, we are proud to support WiiN. A wide range of voices create better ideas, stronger partnerships and a more successful incentives industry for everyone. I was delighted to give the President’s award to the WiiN team at the IMA Summit in 2025 to recognise their positive and ongoing impact on the industry.”

“WiiN’s efforts contribute to a culture where diverse perspectives can thrive”

– Davide Secchi, CCO @ Amilon, Board Member IMA Europe

“I truly appreciate the work WiiN is doing to elevate the visibility, expertise, and leadership of women across the incentive, reward, and loyalty industry. Their ability to create meaningful connections, open dialogue, and shine a light on the remarkable contributions of female professionals is both inspiring and essential. And even in my role as an IMA Europe Board Member, I see firsthand how initiatives like theirs help shape a more inclusive, forward-thinking, and dynamic sector. WiiN’s efforts contribute to a culture where diverse perspectives can thrive and where innovation is driven by the richness of our collective experience.”

What WiiN Stands For

WiiN supports women through:

  • Connection — global networking across the entire value chain
  • Mentorship — 5 cohorts strong, with global mentors & mentees
  • Visibility — speaker directories, global stages, industry-wide partnerships
  • Skill-building — year-round expert sessions, sharing and events
  • Community — a safe, uplifting, energising space to grow

And because our mission lifts the entire industry, we are intentional about including male allies, corporate sponsors, and strategic partners in our vision for the future.

Our Mission for 2026

We’re stepping into 2026 with bigger ambitions, deeper value, and a more global vision. From expanding into new regions to elevating our speaker visibility, strengthening partnerships, and enriching our mentorship and leadership programs — WiiN is gearing up for its strongest year yet.

And we won’t do it alone. Our male allies will continue to play a key role in this next chapter — standing beside us, amplifying our mission, and helping shape an industry where everyone thrives.

A Shared Future

This industry moves forward when every voice can be heard.
When women are supported and when men stand beside them.
When leadership reflects the talent that actually exists in the room.

WiiN is proud to champion that future — and proud to do it with allies who believe in the power of equity, collaboration, and shared progress.

If you or your organisation want to support this movement, we’d love to connect.
